Guy!
I have some pics of the car milage is around 15000 and i am asking 38500.-
You can e mail me at gerhardz@uplink.net or ajagerhard@epix.net
The car has some updates
I agree that offering $32 is way below the cars value. The mileage is not out of line for an 01 and a Coupe for the same year is still bringing more than $32 even in this buyers market. I sold my 00 Coupe w/9500 miles for $33 just recently and I felt that was cheap. $32k?! I want whatever that guy is smoking!

With the way the economy is, 0% financing through GM that # is not out of line for an 01 with that milage. Gauss(for you people that don't know what that is,it is the true wholesale on that car based upon current auction sales) is about 31250-33000 for that car. I just missed out on an 02 at the auction last week it went for 36700 with 7200 miles and I've seen many 01's in the 33-36 range. So based upon the market deals are out there. If you look at other sites on the web E-bay,autotrader,vetnet,vette finders etc. you will find that to get 38,500 for and 01 with that milage will be very tough, but as the saying goes There's an ass for every seat.
The guy is not selling the car for wholesale and you are not buying a car from the auction block. If you want to pay an auction price, go to the auction. You people that buy from and auction and expect a private seller to sell for that price are F------G nuts. Any seller trying to sell a car can sell it for the auction price and any buyer would be stupid to pass up a deal like that. I will buy anyones Corvette for that price if it is taken car of and I will make a living out of reselling the cars to other buyers. WHO CARS WHAT THE AUCTION BRINGS ON THE CARS. BOTTOM LINE IS THE GUY IS NOT SELLING THE CAR AT AN AUCTION, NOR DO MOST PEOPLE HAVE ACCESS TO THE AUCTIONS. AND YOU ARE RIGHT, EBAY AND OTHER SITES DO HAVE A TOUGH TIME GETTING THAT KIND OF CASH OUT OF THE CARS. BUT ALSO CARS RARELY GO FOR THE DOLLAR AMOUNT THEY ARE WORTH ON EBAY SIMPLY BECAUSE THAT IS THE TRADE OFF OF SELLING YOUR CAR IN ONE WEEK AS OPPOSED TO RUNNING A CLASSIFIED AD FOR WEEKS TO MONTHS.

Agree.
Although used car dealer will charge around $1k of service
charge buying a car for you from auction.
With 0% financing, it will usually mean that the used car buyer
will get a penalty of >$3500 which will affect buyer's decision...
But like sbmrinaldi said.. you shouldn't expect private buyer to
sell at auction price...
