Just got back from my local dealer... they sold their first Z for $125k! They get another one in at the end of the month and I'm supposed to get a phone call... not to buy, just to admire.
This was a one time deal to a friend of the owner who just had to be one of the first here. Typically this dealer hooks me up. The owner has been great to me (I'm only 26) and treats me with a lot of respect. Muy importante if you want my money.
I went in today to look at a new trailblazer ss and he went down to $34k trying to sell it to me -that's $6000 below msrp on a specialty vehicle!
The point of me posting was to share how intelligent some people are with their cash.. not to bash the dealership.
So....Who was the guy with DUMBAZZ stamped to his forhead? Let me guess.....The guy with the fat wallet?

Some people have more money than sense. I wish I were one of those people.
The market for these will come down when it comes down. As for those who pay over MSRP they may have more money but I question the lack of sense. Money is meant to be exchanged for something of value. Maybe they simply place a higher value on owning a Z06 than some others.
As with any product, the market is what it is, talking about it won't make a shred of difference.:eyes:
And before the flames start, I paid the same amount over MSRP for my C6Z as I paid under MSRP for my Z16.
