Thank you for contacting the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center and I apologize for the delay in our reply. I appreciate you taking the time to write us in regards to being the owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette and a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe.

I sincerely apologize for the mark up concern you've shared with us regarding Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and that they are marking up the price on a 2006 Z06 Corvette. When one of our customers has a concern with a GM Dealer, it is of great concern to us and documented at our facility.

I have carefully reviewed the circumstances involved in the dispute between you and your dealer. Pricing and sales disputes between dealers and customers must be resolved by the two parties involved. General Motor's dealerships are independent businesses, and as such, are responsible for the day-to-day operations of their business.

I would suggest contacting other Chevrolet Dealerships in your area regarding the selling price on the 2006 Z06. Prices will vary from dealer to dealer. Your file number that identifies this concern is 1-379488312.

If you should need to contact us in the future, simply reply to this message or call our Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-222-1020. Customer Relationship Managers are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

Again, thank you for contacting Chevrolet.

Sincerely,

Kathy Butler

It was worth it for one simple reason. Because he thought it was. Everything ever sold has a different value for different people. Some think the Ferrari I bought was not worth it because their are cars that perform as good or better for less money. But it was worth it to me and that's all that matters.

That's exactly what I tell dealerships that are trying to sell me a car. I figure out what it is worth to me and then I tell them that's what I will pay. They always say well that's not what the book value is or the average buy price is these days. I tell them none of that matters. The only thing that matters is what it's worth to me. So everything ever sold in history has been worth it. That's what's great about capitalism. Everything is on a sliding scale.
