Bad experience at Les Stanford

I have read some good reviews about Les Stanford, however my experience left a lot to be desired. I had the unfortunate experience of being totally blown off by a salesman when I was in the market for my 2003 Z06. I was only 28 at he time so I presume this is why I was not taken seriously. Little did they know that I was serious and in fact purchased my millenium yellow vette from ed rinke the next day. Was not impressed at all. Ed Rinke actually took me seriously and in fact also made the best deal in town.

P.S. They also did not know that i am an Orthopedic Surgeon and anticipate purchasing a new vette every 2 years from now on!!

You know that what I hate about some dealerships ! You go in find the car that you want, you ask them what the best price is without going thru the hassle of the salesman going back and forth to the sales manager and knocking off $300.00 each time ! I told one dealership that I was going to buy my wife an 04 coupe ! I told the salesman to call me that nite with the cost of the options that I wanted !He said he would within the hour ! An hour passes than 2 hours! I call and he left work early and failed to call ! I bought her a new car the next day from another dealership ! About a week later he calls and wants to know if I'm still interested ! No !
I've finished venting

I get the GM discount and was amazed that 8 out of 10 dealerships were still jerking me around. I'll save the details.

Ed Rinke was one of the two with "honest" pricing in this area.

In fact, I had to fly out of town to get the car I wanted at the correct price. Imagine that?

Ed Rinke have good pricing. that's where I got mine a month ago.

My salesman was Allan Frank, very upfront.

spagsdo,
Congratulations on your new purchase

I bought mine from Les Stanford, sorry to hear they blew you off, I had a great experience with them. ( I think it helped that my neighbor cousin is the manager)

Sorry to hear that.

I've purchased three new Vettes from Stanford and have always been treated nicely.

When I first walked in to Les Stanfod nobody would talk to me, I asked what kind of price can we work out on A Z06 and I was told that they don't do any discounts. I was pissed off so one of my co-workers knew the sales manager which hooked me up.

I recently called about getting a Corsa Exhaust installed and did get a call back to my voicemail. I have called back twice and left a messege for a return call for price and appointment but nobody seems to care. I guess the fact that I was not going to pay full retail was the reason I have been ignored.

There is good and bad no matter where you go.....

Congrats I had a similar situation like yours here in L.A......Now you have to go back to L.S.,park your new vette(with the other dealers paper plates ) next to their showroom and ask if they sell key chains
