As most of you are aware if you have read my post around the scratches in my new Z either during delivery or shipment, the courtesy delivery dealer Burt Chevrolet in Denver, CO have washed their hands of any responsibility.
Corvetteseller and Bill Estes Chevrolet which had no responsibility putting the scratches in the car, but they were my purchasing dealer have offered to assist in payment of the detailing bill. I told Bob I could not accept that offer since they had no responsibility for the scratches and it was a matter of principle and not money to get Burt to accept responsibility for their actions.
BUT, Bob insisted that he and Bill Estes management wanted to participate in repair of the scratches quote: " Even though we did not prep or deliver the vehicle, he is still our customer; in spite of the scratches being beyond our control, we will participate in the fix."
It is rare that you find a dealership committed to this level of CUSTOMER SERVICE!
