I'm happy for the new buyers but patience will prevail.

Yes, and that -10%+ starts at MSRP not the "adjusted market price" that dealers are hoping to get.
It is convenient for us to bash the dealers when they are trying to get all they can out of new Z's. But, in reality they are always trying to get all they can for any car they sell. The difference is that the final figure is most often below MSRP, not above it.
Also, we must realize that the dealers are hurting. Look around at just about every brand, the lots are full. New car sales have been very slow. Some dealers have to squeeze all the profit they can out of each sale, and the few Z's that they get helps to pay the rent.
Life isn't always fair, nor is manufacture distribution to dealers. Yes, the K_____k, the L_s S______d, and others can sell Z's for MSRP because they will get 30-50 or more of them. Most dealers probably only get 1-3 per year or possibly less. Of course there is a heirarchy and reward system for the dealerships, but that does not help Joe Smuckatelli from Smallville buy his dream car from the local chevy dealer buddy that he went to grade school with.
In the long run, the more "others" pay for housing, and perceived "hot" cars helps the market. If you don't believe this would you rather see the sales prices of new Z's plummet? ( Probably yes until just after you buy yours!)
Give thanks and enjoy the bird of pray, at least throught this turkey day.
