Ouch. :oo: Maybe the guy is passionate about Corvettes? We all buy them for different reasons. I know my financial weaknesses. And one of them is impulse buying. I really want the new Z06. But past experience has lead me to hold off and wait until they hit the used car classifieds. Then if I still like the car, I am more confident I will like it for a long time. And as an added bonus (I have to keep reminding myself of this) it is usually a lot easier on the ole wallet.
theres one thing being passionate and theres another to be just plain stupid.
I really love Ferraris and I know I could afford one if I moved and lived in a little ass apartment but some things are more important and the money spent on a 200k car could go to better places
I have two cars due in this week. One is Red and the other is Silver. They are priced in the upper $90k range. Let me know if you have any other questions but if you are really interested, don't wait too long. There is a very good chance that they will both be sold before they arrive here.
Thanks.

I have no doubt they'll be sold quick, but for the upper 90 range I'm going with a 996 GT3.

I just picked up a Low Mileage(no Garage Queen) 355 for $70K. There are affordable F-Cars out there. If you want a CS 360 or 430, start Saving or move
if your only car is a 75 thousand dollar sports car, you really have poor monetary planning. And chances are, if you could afford a 75k car, you can afford a few others.
this thread is an example of capitalism. we want z's cheap. we are capitalizing ourselves with the knowledge of how to get a z for cheap. and for the record, my corvette is my only car and no, i dont still live with my parents or in a small house. im a student, on my own, just trying to stick up for the guys that want to get a good deal on a vette. capitalism goes both ways. and i never said capitalism was a bad thing.

Then why not post names of dealers who are giving good deals? It's a lot shorter list, and if your goal was to truly help our Corvette bretheren to find the best deal, this would clearly be the best option.
i only know what i know. i know a dealership that is overcharging. that was the point to this thread. i dont know of a dealership giving deals. just trying to help.
Those that were early to the party a year or more ago, found MSRP deals. They took a risk, not knowing much or anything about the car or what it would cost. Now that some test info is out, and real cars are showing amazing numbers, the frenzy is on. Thus, it's completely logical that now, it's a supply and demand deal. Look at every other limited production "supercar" to hit the market (e.g. Vipers, Ford GTs Ferraris, etc.)
There are no more "good deals" to supply information on if you just have to have a 06 Z06 in the next 6 months. After that, things may change..........or not. The market will decide.
