Yeah I kinda guessed it would be them. They did the same thing with the C5 when it came out in 97. The funny thing is they will never learn.

Where did you see the car advertised for that much? Was it in an ad? Did one of the salesmen tell you? I am really curious as to who told you that price.

gmbuypower says they have 2 Z's. I wonder if they are asking that much each for both of them.

There's a dealer in the Tysons Corner, VA area that was (and probably still is) stickering Z06s @ $29K ABOVE sticker.

And people are actually paying those prices!

The guy that called me saw the price markup. He sent me a pic but it wasn't of the price off the car but it wasn't good enough to post since he took it with his cell phone.

I was in there yesterday and talked to the owner and he said that he wants to know who said the car was that much. He was pretty pissed to hear this rumor. That is why I need to find out exactly who said it. I looked at the cars and NONE of them had that price written on the stickers. I looked at all three, one black, and two yellows.

I need your friend to give me a name of the saleperson... that is if he can produce it.

Hell, I guess I need to tell him to walk around his dealership a little more often. I stand corrected. I am laughing my ass off right now... that is some funny stuff right there. I'll call him right now. Thanks for the photo.
