Congrats, I know the leak is a bummer. My buddy noticed a small leak on his 03 but it stopped and has not returned!

Enjoy the car, it is awesome!

Yup- just noticed a drop on the l/s cover and some wetness on the vibration damper. I've never seen so much as a drip on my garage floor so I'm not going to worry until my next trip to the dealer for an oil change.

I am feeling better already. Thanks for the replies because my '02 never had any problems. I was hoping I didn't jump the gun getting rid of the '02 for that prettier girl that just looks sooooooooo good! You know what I'm talkin' about.

Don't worry about the leak, mine has had it from the first day too. It is so small, never a drop on the garage floor. Waiting to see if it is just an over fill prob before i worry about taking it in. Wipe it off every month, no big deal for now unless it starts dripping.
Good Luck

LeMans Blue sure is a pretty keller!

Congratulations!

I know what you mean about that BLUE...sure is pretty. I was out in the garage organising and couldn't help but just looking at it and thinking ...man I'm glad I got one.

I know it's been awhile, but the leak has never returned...probably just over fill from the factory. So far everything has been fine except for crappy weather and I don't like to take it out unless I have to.
I love this car!

I purchased a 2003 Z06 from Kerbeck and also had a very positive experience. Right off the bat, they discounted the car well beyond what any other dealer would do and treated me graciuosly throughtout the transaction. I dealt with a salesman by the name of Harry Boyer and would highlly recommend him to anyone looking for a Corvette.

Q for corvetteracer - OT

Hello fellow New Jesian, just wondering if you drive your Z06 during winter. Should I even consider getting one as a daily driver here in NJ? How about snow tires?
I would appreciate your input.
Thanks.

Sorry, I can't offer any advice on winter driving of the Z06. My Z06 is a garage queen, which only sees dry surfaces early on Sunday mornings before the rest of the world takes to the roads.

I would be terribly frustrated using my Z06 as a daily driver here in the Garden State. Too many traffic lights and much too much congestion.

But to each his own, Corvette owners have varying tastes and driving preferences. After 18 years in the hobby and 6 Corvettes, I'm at peace with mine.

Let's all save the wave!
