Thought I'd Get Better Service@Maroone Chevrolet
Went to Maroone because of their expertise on Corvettes. Turned out VERY disappointed. First they tell me they cannot do an alignment because my Z06 is lowered. I brought it to them for that very reason; their experience in dealing with modified cars. Now, as you can tell from my screename, I,sell BMW's, have been for ten years. I told them to put a couple of two-by-fours under the front tires to get it on the rack. All of a sudden they could do the alignment. DUH!. Next, my fuel guage was not registering so I needed the sender replaced. When I got the car back, it was PINGING severly. Not too many things upset me more than the damage of pre-ignition. It took 3-tanks of gas and two different octane boosters to remedy the problem. Must have replaced the gas with 50-Octane. You would think with the volume of Corvette sales the do, they'd be on the ball, but there I go thinking again!
Of course they e-mail me to death for servicing, but no one will contact me for satisfaction on these issues.
