first step: banner area - nudity allowed - password protected
second step: once the new software is in place: banner forum - nudity allowed hopefully - password protected
everyone wins! the kiddos are protected, the adults get to play, and everyone goes home happy.
Very simple bottom line here guys. Z06VETTE.COM is JC's site. We are allowed access at his pleasure. It doesn't matter if he has managed 100's of sites, or if this is his first one. If we don't like the site we have the option to go elsewhere. If we follow the site guide lines we have the option of participating here. It all seems pretty simple to me.

What you're saying is obvious and undisputable. However, we as members are free to provide input and feedback, and that's what we did.
The issue regarding the policy change that this thread addressed is already dead and dropped. Those of us who had objections voiced them. The objections were noted and responded to, and at this point there's nothing further to discuss.
if you want to see what happens when the site owners/mgt dont work with the members...check out the snake pit over at the viperclub board. they had a full scale riot there yesterday! it was hilarious but at the same time disturbing. i hope it never comes to that here.

Why is this post still getting replies? Trying to see if we can get that horse a little deader?
Frank would never let us be treated this way and I bet Steve is biting his nails off right about now! Car payments are serious, but car sites should be fun. Take a poll and I bet most members here feel things DON'T need "fixin"! Frank and Steve, we need you guys!!!! Bill
This is getting absolutely ridiculous! You guys already got nudity totally banned. That's fine- I accepted that.
But now you think girls in bikinis gotta go too? Give an inch, take a mile, eh?
As you said, this IS a Corvette forum but the Misc. forum is OFF TOPIC!!!!. That means we don't have to #$%*&# talk about Corvettes in that forum!!!!!! If we want to talk about cute girls in bikinis, we can, and guess what? The admin and moderators agree, so give it a rest!
It is NOT your place to try and force YOUR personal idea of morality on everyone here.
Your approach to this subject is as juvenile as it is unreasonable. If you feel that strongly about it, take it up with JC. Then, when JC makes his decision, be grown up enough live with it and get over it, whether you like his decision or not. If I can do that with the nudity issue, you can do it with this one, or can you?
