What an awesome welcome. What a great bunch of people. Outstanding weather. The car show was icing on the cake.

Thanks for all in the Arizona Contingency. What a wonderful group.

Btw, all of the spirited driving really made me miss my cars.

At least Jim Lembo will be in town next weekend to keep an eye on the crew.

Like the fox watching the hen house...

Glad to see Norm getting out for a change...
Enjoy Guys

If we would have tried to plan that reception, It would have never worked!!
The Tucson putz's were late so the trip from Casa Grande was an hour behind and we are driving west on I-10.

We are cruising on the Interstate at about 80 something and Glenn (GR8 WHITE) pulls up beside me and rolls down the passenger window and shows me the phone and yells "Guess, Who's on the phone, Norman!! He is on the ground waiting for a gate to open!!"

I look at my watch and being the only local in the bunch KNOW the timing is perfect!! The only problem was that Glenn was leading the crew to the airport!!

He goes to the departures (upstairs) dropoff area not the downstairs pickup?????

So we have nine Vettes pull up to the curb in front of a Phoenix police cruiser!! And believe me in that covered area we are NOT quiet

Glenn is on the phone with Norman telling him to grab his stuff and come back to the second floor south side door #6 and everyone is wondering what the hell is going on??
Some rock star come to town or what!!

The cop on duty was GOLDEN!!

Not only did he let us wait at the curb till Norman made it back upstairs but we had him taking pictures of us with our cameras!!
When we got ready to leave, he stopped traffic and I think everyone but me (I had to get us out of the airport) did a nice 4 K rev and launch!!
It was GREAT......................

Norman, you bring out the BEST in the people you are around, buddy!!

Thank You!!
Ken

Ken

That is a great story, waiting to see those pics.

Hey Glenn, when you come to FL. in a few weeks, I'm driving to the restaurant.

Ya'll be safe out there

All, it was awesome...But the only missing link to that story was that a bus cut me off, and made me miss the Terminal 4 arrivals lane, thus going on to the next exit. DEPARTURES. Its ok. It all worked out, but would have been better with the enterage pulling right up to Norm like he was a King..... Too bad he's just a pimp......

A bus cut you off or you just over shot it because you were going to fast? C'mon Glenn, tell the truth?
