Easier Access to the NCM

Received the following from Wendell Strode (Executive Director of the National Corvette Museum):

The Kentucky Department of Transportation has approved extending the turning lane into the NCM. The contract was awarded last week.

We have been assured that it will be completed prior to our Labor Day Weekend Celebration.

This should provide sufficient space for about 10 additional cars to be in the turning lane rather than blocking traffic. This will, of course, be much safer and reduce the possibility that someone will plow into a Corvette looking to turn onto Corvette Drive and visit the NCM.

That's great!!! No one wants to get popped in rear end while waiting to get to the museum after getting so close.

It's when you work too hard.

Don't worry P.Norm., it will never happen to you!
