2003 VIN AUCTION CONTINUES
The top twenty-five bidders on the Museum's VIN auction will have the chance to select specific vehicle identification numbers (VIN) when ordering a 2003 Corvette. Bids are being received and ranked from highest to lowest bid, and the top 25 winning bids will have the opportunity to purchase a new 2003 Corvette including a 50th Anniversary model, with a VIN number ranging from 0041-28000. Bidding will end February 28, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. CT. Interested bidders can make a bid via the Museum's site at:

50TH ANNIVERSARY CORVETTE UNVEILED AT NCM'S 50th ANNIVERARY KICKOFF EVENT
Attendees of Corvette's 50th Anniversary Kickoff event at the Museum (June 27-30) will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the inside scoop on Corvette's 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette. Corvette Chief Engineer David Hill, Corvette Brand Manager Rick Baldick, GM Corvette Assembly Plant Manager Wil Cooksey and Corvette Chief Designer Tom Peters
will make a special presentation including an official unveiling of the new model year Corvette. All 2003 models - convertible, coupe and Z06 will be on display. NCM AUCTIONS 2002 VIN #1 CORVETTE COUPE
The National Corvette Museum has purchased VIN #1 of the model year 2002 Corvette as an auction fundraiser. The collectible VIN #1 coupe obtained from Chevrolet's "captured fleet", features the stunning electron blue color with black interior and automatic transmission. The unique Corvette currently on display at the Museum will be auctioned to the highest

CORVETTE NAMED A DRIVER'S CHOICE - GM PLANT VETTE GAZETTE REPORT
"Motorweek", the PBS automotive magazine show, announced its 20th annual Drivers' Choice Awards at the Chicago Auto Show last week and the Corvette Z06 was among them. In fact, more U.S. manufactured vehicles made the list than in past years, scooping up the majority of the awards. "Its all about competition and good design - U.S. auto manufacturers are
continually taking an established theme and driving it to the next level," said John Davis, host and executive producer of the "MotorWeek." CORVETTE ONLY PARKING CORRAL AVAILABLE AT SEBRING RACE
The Corvette Race Team along with Ecklers, Mobil One and Promotions in Motion invite you to visit the Corvette Corral in Sebring, Florida to watch the Corvette C5-R's compete in the first race of the 2002 American LeMans Series season. The 50th Annual 12 Hours of Sebring kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 16th. You must be driving your Corvette to park
in the corral and parking will be on a first-come first-serve basis. The corral will be located near the exit of the last turn on the main straight away to the start/finish line. There will be signs indicating the Corvette Corral. There will be room for approximately 60-65 Corvettes. You will need to purchase tickets for admission and parking from the Sebring Track.
