LAND CAMPAIGN GOAL UPDATE
To date, over $169,000 in donations have been raised for the land campaign scheduled to end Thursday, October 31, 2002. Once the campaign reaches the $175,000 mark, the additional $25,000 committed to the campaign by NCM Lifetime member, Bob Patrella, will top off the donations and complete the $200,000 land purchase goal. "Together we are making it happen", states Executive Director Wendell Strode. "There is no other way this campaign could have had the force to move along so quickly, if it had not been for the generosity of NCM members, supporters and enthusiasts taking the lead. We are almost there!"
Over 60 Corvette Clubs have contributed funds, in addition to 830 individual donations received to date. The large parcel of land is critical to Museum events, its appearance, and future planning. A special drawing of the ground to be purchased is available by clicking here:
