The NCM will announce an opportunity to see the newest offerings from Chevrolet (hint, hint) and GM, before the show opens to the public January 19, 2008.
Participants can see what is new at Chevrolet prior to the show's public opening and have access to the entire show. There will be a special rate block of rooms available to those who choose to stay overnight as part of the event festivities. Event registration will include transportation to/from the show, a commemorative event shirt and show admission.
The NCM expects to open the registration in early November and will sell out quickly.
The notice will be posted in the NCM eNews. Sign up for the FREE eNews at

As most of you know, I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan and have attended the Detroit Auto Show (aka North American International Auto Show) for more than 40 years! Yes, I was there when Chevrolet first introduced the C5, C6, and C6Z06.
The pre-event for the C6Z06 was presented by then Chief Corvette Engineer, Dave Hill. Dave arranged for us to gain admission to the NAIAS before the doors were opened to the public and spent 45 minutes describing the new Corvettes. Afterward, he hung around to answer individual questions.
Mrs Zippy & I are planning on returning to Detroit for this special opportunity.
Hope to see you there.
