WGI May 4th..3 laps for $15!

I just found this on the WGI site. This is our travel day to WGI for the SCDA May 5th & 6th event. Maybe get to WGI a little earlier on sunday for a few laps???

Is it high speed or follow a pace car around going 45 mph?

Yah, Jeremy. Dan picked up on the pace car also. Must be behind the pace car. But it would be ok to pick up a few lines through corners before monay. We're dicussing if we think it's worth it or not....

Kewl -- I'll stay tuned awaiting updates on this. If this is travel day, it might be worth getting there early to check this out on Sunday. Can't believe you would get much for $15, but I have an open mind!

BTW -- here's a thought. I've read that many of the best race drivers get up and WALK the track before a race to feel all its twists and turns, inclines, grades, bumps, etc. So if we have a chance to drive it behind a pace car, well, that's a fine alternative for me! A slow drive over the track before we jump in head first on Monday is actually a GREAT IDEA!
