* Need helmet and sign track waiver when we get there. That's all!
* Ask anyone who's been there before...IT'S A BLAST!!!
* Probably one of the best tracks ever to learn to drive your Corvette on

No, it is the Little T'dega Grand Prix track. Go to link to find out more. Built for motorcycles. An increbibly fun track to be sure. Kind of between an autocross and a full blown fast track type of day.

You guys will have a great time at this track! I went with an Atlanta SVT club on August 30th of this year. We had a total of 16 cars and broke up into 3 groups (5, 5 & 6), with each group getting 30 minutes at a time. We found that we could have handled probably twice as many cars with out a problem.

We ran the track counter-clockwise in the morning and clockwise in the afternoon. I really prefered the afternoon direction alot better.

I went through a set of tires in 70 miles (three half-hour sessions), but I was really pushing my 400 hp cinder-block pretty hard.

Here is a link to an in-car video of a lap as well as access to some lap segments (bottom of the page has an in-car entire lap from inside an '03 Mach1)

http://www.svtoa-atlanta.org/phpBB2/...=&threadid=712

It would have been nice to have some Corvettes join our event... we plan on doing it again... I'll see if anyone wants to come along.

We've been there several times and truly have a blast. 03SVT what kind of lap times were you running in your FORD?

Indeed, the track eats tires, but is easy on brakes, etc.

Jet Jockey&Z06:

Don't know... it was our first time at that track and the folks who were going to bring the transponders, did not bring them.

I chased the fella with the Mach1 for several laps; he was running fairly close with my 03 Cobra... but I don't know how hard he was pushing it with a passenger holding a video. I have not timed his video to see how long his lap took---have you?

If I had extra tires/rims, I'd join up if there was room... just so you guys could brag about out handling another one of those damn '03 Cobras...............

Post pictures and VIDEOS if possible!

Have fun & bring it back in one piece!!!!!!
