Good track event coming up at VIR

On July 14,15 and 16th the Viper group will be at VIR. Friday is for experienced drivers only and Saturday and Sunday is for all levels of experience.
Fridays they normally start at 9:00 AM run to 12 then start again at 1 and run till 5:00. Only 2 group alternate on the track. The racers run one group and the DE's run the other. If run the whole day you get 7 half hour sessions! There are no formal instructors available but if you are not familiar with this thrack there is always someone around that will ride with you to get you familiar.
On Saturday and Sunday they run four groups; novice, intermediate, advanced and racers. There are instructors for the novice group and they are available for the other two groups if you want them. So on these two days you get four half hour sessions each day. Also on Saturday and Sunday you get to watch some good wheel to wheel racing with the Viper Racing League. They usually field between 12 to 20 racers.
Nice group of people to run with, fast , safe and fun. VIR is a great course for the vettes . Three long straight aways and well connected twisty section. This track has it all.
If you want more info go their web site at Viperdays.com.
Come out and play in the traffic.

VIR is a fun track. The Shelbys will be there July 1st and I would like to go since my brother is taking his newly acquired ERA GT-40 but that's the end of our fiscal year and the auditors frown on the Comptroller not being there to supervise his people.

I'm looking forward to going back to VIR, was there last week with the Mazda Drivers and had a great time. I signed up months ago for Viper Days. After the Viper Days at VIR going to Nashville for Phil Wicks DE then on to the FEST. Headed to Watkins Glen with the ''Car Guys'' next weekend.
