You are so right Omar! Most of us are too damn busy trying to make ends meet in one of the most expensive places to live in the US. However, there will be a lot of things going on. Try the Northern Virginia Corvette Club. They do a LOT of those things you mentioned. Myself...I'm gearing up for a DE at Summit Point on June 11, drag racing at different tracks around the area, going to the Fest on July 20-25 (coming down your way...495-66-81S). Englishtown (NJ) has the Vette Magazine Show n Go usually on July 27-28. There's an All GM Day at MIR on June 5th. Last year I took second place to Steve Row (02EBZ06) and won a trophy and $100. There's 5-OJoe's Mod party in Joisey coming up. Lot's of things to do.

Well why don't you organize something?
There are weekly car meets in Dulles Town Center on Friday nights and in Manassas on Saturday afternoon. There was Captain Billys Cruise over to Maryland.
People get together around here for Test and Tune at Capital Raceway and MIR and VIR. I just went to Long Island last Saturday or the Hooters Cruise, a one day event, only fifteen hours total commitment. Z06Airways had a Z06 picnic last year. I have had guys over to my place to a mini mod party last year. This year I will be doing it again on a larger scale in the near future when my garage is finished. Various Corvette clubs around here do activities. There was just a Skyline Cruise recently I believe. About 2 months ago ther was a get together at a local dyno. Mike Siska told you about a drivers event. There is a yearly Cruise in for Corvettes in Manassas in August and those are just the ones I know....so why the heck are you sitting at home complaining

Hmmmm - Don't forget to check the the Northeast and the other regions. Lots going on in the Northeast region which for us in MD/VA is only a minutes away in the Z zone

The Gaithersburg Corvette Club ("G-Burgs") hosted a concours this past Sunday at Criswell Automotive in Gaithersburg, MD. 53 corvettes in the competition, with about another 30 or so parked around the dealership. Good music, food, and mucho corvettes!

I feel your pain man..............Try living in rural Mississippi too where everybody is broke, busted and disgusted............. Plenty of ZZZZZZZZZZZZ.........71's and mud drags happening. All this talk about lowering....... anybody know where I can get a 6 inch lift kit for our cars and some fender flares so I can put some super swamper 44's on it.....................

I was not offended just surprised that we had done such a poor job of putting this stuff up, I am sorry we will do better.

Maybe all us Junior members also should step up and not just wait for Senior members to coordinate something. I see sooo many nice vettes driving around and it would be nice to get to know these people and get ideas and learn from each other.

Myself and my buddy and a few others have started to meet up since the weather has gotten better. We all cruised up to the Corvette Show this weekend at Crisswell also. I just put the CCW 505's on my car and the borlas stingers, so you can check em out. I also want to see your car with the hood and the Supercharger if you have gotten around to doing them.

I am taking my car this friday to ECS to get my IC MAG+ 21MC BLOWER CAM + LG HEADERS installed. I can't wait to get the car back. I should have the car back next friday.
