Lowes, Fri June 20th

Small crowd tonight at Lowes, with the threat of rain. Ended up being fun, though not many Vettes. Talked to a guy with a new SVT Stang. 400 RWHP with only headers and a MAF. Not bad for $33K. A dude with a 99 Ferrari 355 showed up. Pretty nice. Burned out a clutch at the track. Had an aftermarket exhaust installed with the new clutch. Total cost of clutch and exhaust? $7 grand. Ouch. Other than that, not too much there. Ran into some guys who I at first thought were ricers, but they were into Maximas. Looking at their cars, they really had put a lot of work into various parts, like suspension. Cool guys. If we could only get someone there with a blown vette. Hey, I could be that guy! Eventually

Give me a few weeks and I will have my blown vette out there. The Vortech is sitting in the basement. Deceiding if I want to put the blower on before or after my track day in August.
