RevHigh dyno war/meet Mid-Atlantic (DC metro)

Hey guys, first time posting on this forum. I have a couple of friends with Z06's that I will have to recommend this site to.
I'm primarily into Porsche and BMW's now, once being a '94 'vette owner myself. I modified that car a bit too much, I knew this when my wife had to go to jail for speeding in it. I built the car for her. LOL

Any event, the reason I'm posting this meet is that I have a buddy with a '01 Lingenfelter 'vette coming to my dyno war.
I've met some Z06 owners at the track and always a pleasure talking shop with you guys. I hope you guys can make it to my dyno war, I would love for you to represent the Z06 there.

Info-

The RevHigh dyno war/meet makes it back to the Mid-Atlantic region visiting our friends at AutoThority in Fairfax, VA, http://www.autothority.com to utilize their SuperFlow dyno services. We will have performance engineers on-site to assist with the dyno operation of your vehicle and discuss your special vehicle needs.

This event/meet is for all BMW/MINI/Porsche/Viper/Corvette/Supra friends of RevHigh.
Limited space is available and discounted pricing has been negotiated for you. This is an excellent opportunity for you to find out what your car is putting down to the rear wheels.

The SuperFlow dyno is the most accurate dyno in the world. With over 120 inputs to select and monitor on your vehicle, it far exceeds any other commercial dyno’s on the planet.

The list price for dyno runs is $125/car, Monday-Friday only from AutoThority. RevHigh has negotiated a low price of $50/car for 2-3 pulls. Air/Fuel metering/sampling can be done at this event for you custom tuned hot-rods for only $40. This is highly advisable for any of you running forced induction or nitrous setup and custom engine packages.

This event will host cars from bored/stroked supercharged BMW V8's, turbo and supercharged M3’s, Lingenfelter prepared Corvette’s, Vipers and more. We hope to see you there!

RevHigh dyno war schedule:
Saturday, September 27th @ AutoThority in Fairfax, VA from 10am-4pm or later depending on schedule.
$50/car for 2-3 pulls
additional $40 for Air/Fuel sampling/metering
Pre-Registration is required

***Bring your own race gas, nitrous bottles, nitromethane, cameras, beers, sodas and gorgeous ladies*** (sorry guys-this time I’m not recruiting fine young things) Wet T-shirt contest is optional if enough ladies are present. :-)

To pre-register please CALL AutoThority directly @
703-323-0919 ext. 405
703-323-6000
Ask for Ali and tell him you are registering for the RevHigh dyno war.

It is important that you pre-register for this event to secure a slot for dyno time. There is limited space available. Only 15-20 cars will be on the dyno that day possibly more if needed.

Spectators welcomed! Please pass this along to other enthusiast that may be interested in participating or seeing these hot cars in action.

Always remember to RevHigh!

C-ya there,
John aka RevHigh

I would be down to at least come and spectate and watch the 700hp porsche. Really don't want to have to dyno my piddly little 325 rwhp car after that thing goes for a spin the lingelfelter car, are you talking about DJ Self? Or is there another Lingefelter car running around here? I just car got my car dynoed, but might strap on a vararam or vortex and see if I get any gains over my junk k&N filter intake that I have now. Any other C5's signed up yet?

Thanks for the post 1 slow 97.

The Lingenfelter modded C5 will be on the dyno among other high caliber cars. The car belongs to a friend of mine in Sterling.
He has done a lot of work on that beast.

I hope you swing by at least to spectate. We always have a good time at these events. The SuperFlow dyno is an amazing machine with a built in weather station and correction factors for SAE.
I have pulled a 302hp/322TQ dyno run on a 4.4L V8 on that machine so I plan to out do those numbers with some other mods I've done to the engine.

I hope more 'vettes show up. It doesn't have to be Z06 only.
I'm a 'vette/GM guy myself with several big-block cars in my garage. Unfortunately, I just broke the frame on my built '68 Olds 442 and I can't bring that along to dyno. I was thinking of bringing my Avalanche 2500 with the 496 to dyno but I may back out on that unless there is enough dyno time.

Fire away any questions.

Cheers,
John

Hey John, what about F-bodies? Some of us have fast Firebirds and Camaros, can we bring them along? A buddy of mine has a '96 TA with a D1 ATI blower, 396ci motor and all the usual goodies that is being tuned this weekend. I'm sure he'd love to come out for a dyno war. I might even bring out my slow 10 second ride

WayneE-

NOW you are talking my language! It is a dyno war, bring it on!
I want to see what we have in the DC metro area and our neighboring states (or anyone willing to drive for 2 hours) on the dyno. This is a really nice dyno to use and the price I got us is a giveaway deal.

Bring the Firebird and your slow 10 second ride.

This event is to mix it up, we all enjoy fast custom cars, especially the high-tech wonders that roam the streets.

Please call to pre-register though I want people to reserve their spots.

John

I've got a pile of parts in my living room waiting to be installed, so I probably shouldn't spend money on a dyno run right now, but I'll try to swing by to watch.

Bilstien Shocks, Hotchkis swaybars, '02 Z06 springs, chrome seat hoops, and gauge bezels. I've actually got a full '02 Z suspension that I'm using the springs out of. Once I make sure the shocks and swaybars play nice together, I'll probably sell the leftover '02 parts.

So did anyone make it there? I got on a swing of cleaning my apartment, which never happens, so I stuck with it. If I stopped, it would be another couple years of looking at the mess I'd made.

RevHigh- What all showed up? Who had the highest numbers?

Lingenfelter 'vette won with a 435RWHP run

A couple of Z06's showed up, one being Frank's with 30 day tags and a Haltech (?) intake, it belched out 388rwhp. The other Z06 was a black on black one with HRE's, 19" fron and 20" rears and all blacked out. It looked bad asz.

I'll post pics soon.

It was a great event, lots of high HP cars and custom jobbers. An '02 996 TT with Stg. 4 AutoThority kit showed up, 560bhp but did not run. It was stunning.

I belched out a 311rwhp/337rwTQ out of my 4.4L 32V V8. The highest naturally aspirated run of the day.

Pics to come this week.
