Southern MD Tour

I thought that this area would make a great 1 day tour. I am talking about the western peninsula of Maryland. From the north, take MD 4 or MD 5 all the way south. From the west, use US 301 to MD 5.

We could check out Solomonds Island, St. Mary's City, and Point Lookout all in about 30 miles.

SCROLL ON DOWN THIS THREAD FOR TOUR DETAILS.

13 Jan works for me

Roger,

The 13th works for me. I'm not familiar with that part of Maryland, could you post a start/meeting point and a proposed route/end point.

Are you a member of the Lexington Park Fire Department? That would be a cool banner picture of all the vettes and the VFD.

Anyone have a banner?

I'm not a member of the VFD. But they might do a picture for us anyway.

Yeah sounds good. Weather permitting of course. I don't know MD very well so it will be cool to check out the sites with a bunch of Z's!

Thanks for the update!

I think I can make it.

Roger, I also recommend you use the Member Locator for everyone within 100 miles and PM them too........

Also, contact Craigk and BADASSZ06, they usually join in these type of outings (not in locator yet )

Don't forget to put it in the calendar!!!!!!!

Sounds great

Roger Ramjet,
Sounds great, by the way I love your screen name
I would love to go on a cruise, I haven't made it to that part of MD yet. Of course I have to invoke the infamous "third world $hithole clause" whenever I try to commit to being anywhere at an appointed time
