The Willowbrook Hooters is having a car show and Hooter Girl car wash Saturday, May 1. The show is from 12-4, you must show up between 9 and 10 if you are going to be in the show. Not sure what time the car wash is, but I'll be there with my camera, you know to take pictures of the um, um, clean cars, yeah, that's it, the clean cars.
There's three or four things going on May 1st. I'll try and check it out.

Holy smoke everytime I turn around something else comes up. I might swing by too. Eddie there were 3 Z16's at the last Hooters Vette show off 1960. Mine was too dirty to be in the show. Maybe next month.
An update on this is that the show is on Sunday now. It was originally scheduled for last weekend, but moved due to weather. I was told it would be Saturday at first, but found out today that it is Sunday. The car wash is still on Saturday, but the chance of rain is 60% on Saturday. I'm already signed up for the show, but more interested in the Hooter girl car wash at this point.
It is basically at the south east corner of 249 and 1960. Once there, go south on the 249 feeder road, it is about a 1/4 of a mile down on the right. It is before the traffic light that you will see on your way down the 249 feeder road.
hey, do you Houston guys have anything goin on in the next few weekends. Im doing my headers next weekend (May 8-9) and would like to try to make it up the following weekend to take it over to MTI and see what kind of numbers I can put down. Figured Id get a hotel and make a weekend out of it if theres any shows or anything else goin on up there.
Well the chance for rain on Saturday, during the Hooter girl car wash, is very high. Not sure if they would push that out to the next weekend or cancel it.
I work for a large corporation and several of us have Corvettes, we've been trying to have a gathering and that weekend it may happen. You are welcome to join that if it pans out.
If nothing else, my daughter's club volleyball will finally be over this weekend, so I'm sure I could find time to meet up with you at MTI or some other place.
sounds good, Ill let ya know....I think the UPS man is afraid of me, I run up to the truck every day like a kid at an ice cream truck (although I still do the same to the ice cream truck ) Im starting to twitch waiting for these damn headers. Its been too long since I tore a perfectly good car apart.
I would have thought a little rain on a Hooters Car Wash day would really reel in the customers... What happened here? I was looking for some pictures!

It was raining the day of the car wash, so I didn't even go by then. I missed the car show because my daughter's volleyball team ended up in a different bracket that was further away and would have made it harder for me to get back and forth. I do not know why, but I keep missing these car washes. One day I will get to attend one and I will have my camera. When that day finally comes, I'll be happy to share the pictures.
