We got done a lot sooner than we expected. We were supposted to get 1 station in 2 days but we got 2 stations in 1 day. So tomorrow we plan to head over to KC and eat lunch before we head up to Kearney. You guys have any suggestions? Maybe y'all can eat with us.

There are plenty of places in Overland Park...if you guys want to eat somewhere in the Metcalf / 135th area I am game.

How about Houlihans at Towncenter (Roe & 119th street) ??

if you want an experience, you need to go down to The Plaza...that is probably a little too far for me since it will take me at least 25 minutes to get there from my office...the view is VERY nice...specially with this type of weather...

My office is just off Metcalf Ave, but since I'm not normally a lunch eater, I can't really suggest any good places. If you decide on a restaurant in the area that Tailwag mentioned, let me know where and what time and I'll try and show up.

Mike

btw, Norman's up in Canada fishing so I don't think you'll hear from him this week

That sounds really cool. We'll be there at least 2 days before we move on to the next station. So we can meet either tomorrow night or Wednesday night. I'll look up The Plaza.

Where's the Plaza? Is it an area or a restaurant?

The Plaza is an area. It is a big shopping, eating and drinking district located about 20 blocks south of downtown.

I haven't been to the Plaza in ages so I can't remember a lot of the restaurants down there. I think George Brett has a bar/restaurant there and there are probably 25 or 30 other places but I can't remember the names.

I've got problems being available Tuesday or Wednesday evening or Wednesday at noon but if you decide on someplace during the daytime tomorrow, I will try to make it out

Mike

I'm going to talk to my co-workers about eating downtown. Call me around 10:00.

Plans have changed again. It appears the guys at the next station aren't ready for us til Friday and Sat. So we will push through and get the rest of them and come back and get the one close to KC. Hopefully we'll get to go home earlier than planned. We still plan to eat in KC
