MidOhio doesn't post a schedule of thier non-spectator events.
The next event that I'm attending is TracQuest over Memorial Day.
I have a schedule at work that has all their dates, I'll try to remember to bring it home tomorrow.

Let me know when you go - maybe we can hook up. I just finished a weekend there with NASA. What a blast! I put a little video together - but I don't have a place to post it (any help....?) The compressed version is about 10 meg.
Here's a list of their HPDE's for 2006. I ran the course last month right after they relayed the track and it was VERY slippery. I am there again with the BMW club over Memorial wknd:
Anyone with experience with any of these groups, please chime in. I would love to run Mid Ohio this year, but I have no idea which groups are open or the best to run with in terms of track time and driver experience. Instructor is not needed, but I'm all for more learning if a group requires them.
I've run with most of them (MidO is 50 minutes away from my house). Depends on what your priorities are: max track time, quality of instruction, structure, open passing, limited passing, etc..
I haven't tried hosting a video on my server yet, so let me know if there are any problems. We'll see what it does to my bandwidth also so it may not stay up forever.
Leslie, I grew up in Mishawaka and went to Penn. I love SB and it's proximity to Lake Michigan!
awsome! I am in the process of moving up here to IN, but plan on being here full time by end of May I love SB and I can't wait to get to the lake!!!
Kmagvette-I have run with PCA, BMW, Audi, Chin Motorsports and Viper days-all are great groups and run very professionally. From what I have seen, PCA groups require everyone to have an instructor, including advanced groups, at least until they sign you off
IMO, NASA seems to have the loosest set of rules. Only the novices are required to have instructors, and they have the most relaxed passing rules. NASA usually runs races or time trials on the same days as HPDEs. The down side of that is there can be quite a long wait between runs - the up side is that there are usually cool things to watch! See my video.
PCA events always seem well organized and filled with the nicest guys. Every driver's group needs instructors - but you can get signed off.
