Viper Days are pretty nice events, from what I heard. Several World Challenge drivers came from the Viper Racing League, which is run in conjunction with Viper Days.
If JH is their, it is worth it. Tell him I said "Hi," although I'll see him before then.

I did the Viper Days school at Willow Springs with LG. It was fantastic! Lots of seat time, in car training with LG as a passenger and wired for sound, engaging class sessions. I highly recommend it. My lap times at WSIR dropped 4 seconds. Oli was there and might chime in, he was totally stoked, too! I would so like to make the class at Mid-Ohio, but it's too far to go for that time of year....I work as a counselor in a school.

Don't know if it is worth the money. How much money is it?
I believe it was $575. Check out their web site for details. www.theperformancedrivingschool.com
I've decided to skip it this year, since I've signed up for a 3 day school at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park.
I have been driving with the Viper Days events for 5 years. I usually do 4 events a year. It is a great group. When I first started with the group I was almost the only one driving a Corvette, but now they have learned that the Vette is a good match to have one the track with the Vipers and each event it seems like there are more Vettes there. I am to the point now that i am instructing for them also. Yes it does cost a little more than some events, but you get at least 4 half hour session per day and on Fridays you get six or seven.
I took the Lou Gigliotti course at Sebring. Like they said you get 2 hours class time , but the real kicker is to have Lou drive your car. I started out running laps in the mid 2:30's and by Sunday morning I ran laps in the 2:25 - 2:27's. It is also fun to harrass the Vipers on the track. Yes most of them are faster than the C-5's but at mid ohio their advantage is reduced because of all the technical sections. The vette is much better at braking and turning than the average Viper and if you have the new 06 Z06 you will out run them too. Very good group of people. Skip and Courtney are the best. I run 12 to 14 events a year, and the Viper Days events are always my favorite. Mid ohio is also recently repaved. It is smooth , fast and fun. Also with viper group you are running with equal cars so you get a higher percentage of open laps because there are fewer under powered cars on the track. If you get a chance sign up and have a blast.

Best HPDE I have attended for our cars. There are lots of high horsepower vipers and great drivers/instructors. Courtney and Skip are great. You get a transponder to record each lap time which they print out for you to keep and grid with after each session. I have done a Viper Days event each year since 2003.
Here are a couple of videos I made of my Viper Days events.
