Sorry for the short notice. We're going to have a meeting at Hooters on South Parker road this Saturday.
There are going to be some of my old F-Bodies friends to talk about a Bandimere Track Day. We're planning to rent the track for a day this coming May.
We're trying to get some participants, and perhaps some sponsors.
We've done this for the last 3 years. The cost per person is about $65.00 and it includes full track support. The limit is 60 cars or so. By trying to get some sponsors, the cost can be less.
If any of you Z06 drivers want to show up this Saturday, it'll be great. I'm driving mine, the weather is supposed to be nice.
Let's show up, have some lunch, meet some new people, and see what ideas we can come up with.
The meeting will be at 12pm. We usually get there few minutes earlier to check each other cars, talk and have fun.

Right on, guys. I need some Z06 representation!
Ralph, please don't put yourself into much suffering like that. I've heard there's nothing but good powder snow at Vail. Awesome skiing!
The more of you that can make it, the better. There are at least 3 Z06 committed to come. The gathering would probably last a couple of hours. I'm sure we can talk some of the girls to come out, and pose for us! ...and yes, I'm taking some pics!

There were 4 Z06's and a C4 today. I would've loved to see more Vettes in the crowd. We missed Ted and Ralph.
My F-Bodies friends didn't disappoint either. There were 2 Supercharged Camaro SS's putting down 600+ ponies at the wheel, and a white Tran-Am LS1 with over 500hp at the wheels.
While we were there, No Merci showed up in a beautiful Lambo Gallardo.
We took some pics, had some lunch, and hang out for a bit.
Overall we had like ~15 people show up.
A quick update on the Bandimere Track Day. The plan has been put in place. My friend Trent will be contacting Bruce at Bandimere to establish a date, and get the ball rolling.
What I know so far is; the date will be in May. Definitely before Memorial Day, so I'm thinking mid-May.
This was a nice meet. I didn't know the Lambo guy was "No Merci". I visited his web site & it turned out he was trying to get some drivers to cruise down to Colorado Springs & back. I'd have gone if I'd known. In the end he didn't get the turn out he was looking for.
Here some pics. I do have a couple more pics of the Vettes that I will add later, including one from "we" the Z06 guys holding a Z06Vette.com banner held by the Hooter girls, in front of our cars! http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/Meet17.JPG
From left to right: Straatien's 02 Z06, my 02 Z06, Tony Johnson's 01 Black Z06, and 3-pedal Z06's 02 Z06.
Sorry: I had made a prior commitment to my son + I'm not really into the "Hooters" thing.
Me neither. Which reminds me of the motorcycles that line up on Larimer square. We should do that with Zs. Sit outside the café or dine in the restaurant on the corner (I forget the name).
