Hey man that really sucks, those left-turners are a real menace as they are a leading cause of motorcycle fatalities, but at least you are ok. I totaled my first z years ago on a fly-over, had lots of bumps and bruises and hit my head pretty hard. The cops who responded made me sit by the car until it was towed which took a couple hours becuz of the traffic that I had caused, so for two hours I sat there while thousands drove by slowly to see the crashed corvette and driver exhibit. I found one just like it, however, just thirty days later, with a lot less miles on it, and I'm still in that one. But that was my first corvette and I do miss her. Good luck on a replacement-c7 is just next year...

Wow, Deja Vu all over again. Hadn't been on in a while due to other circumstances and one of the first posts I see is this one. Bummer. Same scenario happened to me. I think the post is still on here somewhere, but I know exactly how you feel. It took $18k to bring mine back to spec using all genuine GM parts, thankfully the frame was fine. That was back in 2006 and it drives and handles fine by me. Glad you weren't hurt.

Hey Bob, doing okay. I don't want to hijack this thread with my rantings and misfortunes of late, so in closing I just hope that left turners actually LOOK before they turn unlike what happened my situation.
