10k report

Well it had to happen. My baby just turned 10K Miles on the clock yesterday.
I've had no major problems with this car (knock on wood). Here's a list of trips to the dealer (excluding regular oil changes):
1. Parking brake adjustment. It was a little too loose for my taste so I had them tighten it up a bit.
2. Grinding noise from the right rear brakes under light braking. They didn't find anything and the noise was gone when I got the car back (I think this was with about 2K on the clock).
3. Low oil warning. This was with about 4K on the oil. I checked the oil and it seemed fine and the dealer thought the same. I had them change the oil anyway and it hasn't happened since.

And that is it.
The Z06 is one awesome sports car!!

Z06er, My car just hit 11k. Same thing, my parking brake is too loose for me. You just took it in and they hooked it up for you?? i may have to do that myself. Glads to hear you are happy with the Z.

I've seen this message on my car, with the oil full to the top of the stick with less than 1K miles on my Z, when starting after parked facing downhill ~6% grade. Restarted on level ground and the error went away.

John,
When I got the low oil warning it didn't occur to me to restart the car on level ground (I was on a slight grade). I just drove it directly to the dealer since I was due for an oil change anyway. Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind in case it happens again.

After 10 months and 10,500 miles the only problem I've had so far was some stitching opening up on my seat. Had that repaired. So far so good
