2005 1/2 new Z06?

This is just a fast question? I know that the new style vettes are coming out in 2005. My question is does anyone know if there is a "for sure date/model year" for the next Z06 or next hi-perf vett?

Latest I've heard, and this came from GM guys at Bondurant's School, 10 days ago, is "about 18 months, as an '06..." One of them was Heinricy's 2-I-C on the CTS-V project... Nice to see Corp. people learnin' the basics (actually, it was an ADVANCED school, and these guys could WHEEL)

In August of 06 i will have just taken the bar and (hopefully) be working for the DA's office trying cases. I think a brand new black on black 06 right off the show room floor should be a fitting reward. Although I am not sure how the other DA's would feel about the junior deputy ridding around in a 500 horse power sports car... OH WELL

Don't let what others might think get in the way....if YOU want the '06 Z, then by all means DO IT.
