There are a group of us that are renting out Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC on Monday 5/20 for a track day. This is intended for licensed racers or people who have solo'd at various high performance driving schools. There will likely be 2 run groups that alternate 1/2 hr. sessions from 8AM to 5PM with a break for lunch, so you should get plenty of track time. We are trying to limit the total number of participants to 25-30, so you should also have plenty of open track. Assuming 20 participants total, the cost will be $265 per person. This will include corner workers, emergency crew, wrecker service (no wrecks please), security, etc.. That cost will come down proportionately if there are more than 20 attendees. CMP is a 2.25 mi. roadcoarse set just outside lovely downtown Kershaw. Fun track but make sure to change your brake fluid before attending.
I cannot guarantee you a spot, but if you're interested, please respond quickly. I believe there will be at least 2 Z06s in attendance with the rest of the cars primarily BMWs & Porsches.
I should note that in the lower run group, driver's ed rules will apply (it's not a race; controlled passing etc.)
