Best 1/4 time for me before the cam was 12.5 @ 117.57 - 2.22 60', launching off idle on street tires. I'm very please with it after the tune.

I bumped the rev limiter to 6800 rpm, kept the AFR at a conservative 12.5, and had them adjust the idle just slightly to let it run a little better - I'm very pleased! Speedworks did a kick ass job!

Hey Jim,

It was great to meet you in person today up at SpeedWorks.

I was very impressed with the numbers they got with the LS1 edit tuning out of your car. If I could do a cam and headers on mine and pick up 30rwhp N/A, I'd be very pleased.

Eclipsing 400rwhp without touching the heads is nothing short of excellent, IMHO.

Great job!

Great to meet you too, Wes! That's definitely going to be a bad ass beast on the bottle, did the install finish up as planned?

Yeah, it finished up nicely. I need to get an additional bottle (my brother might still have his from his old '00 T/A) to finish up the dual bottle mounting stuff. But other than that its done.

I just had to sit and wait for 2 hours after it was done to get on the dyno b/c of that blown '98 Cobra with the ignition problems.

Sucks you had to wait, glad it's finished up though...

When I get to the office here in a little bit I'll post up my stock, bolt-ons, and after cam dyno graphs...

The exhaust note has definitely changed at idle, it's deeper, it lopes, but during driving (at least inside the car) it makes a very similar noise to before...

My TPIS mini H pipe is welded to straight pipe which runs to the Xpipe...the H Pipe is slip fitted into the headers....

I can attest to this as someone who was in the shop while they had Jim's car on the dyno.

I've heard several "cammed" Z06s (most with heads also) and Jim's has a very healthy lope to it. I'd say it lopes more than any other I've heard. This isn't a bad thing, unless you just don't like that. The idle was steady, you can just really tell its got a big cam in it.
