Brad: Why are you posting this? Wouldn't you lose out on sales if someone signed up as a preferred customer or do you get a commission from this too?
X,
Good question. If someone signs up as a preferred customer via the link to the left, above, or via my website below, they will be associated with my dealership. While I lose out on the retail profits in this case, I get a much smaller commission, so I do make some money.
But, I wouldn't want to keep this a secret from my fellow Corvette owners.

Any question by the General on running Amsoil in the engine and Tranny if a problem occurs?
AMSOIL products recommended on the AMSOIL product application guide (link in my first post) meet the manufacturers requirements, so there should be no issue with support from GM or any other car manufacturer. In addition, AMSOIL warranties its products. This warranty can be found on their homepage (link at the bottom of the page). AMSOIL Corporate Homepage
I have verified that AMSOIL SAE 5w30 meets GM Standard GM4718M. In addition, their ATF meets DEXRON III requirements for the tranny, and their 75w90 meets the requirement for the diff. They also make the limited slip additive.
AMSOIL may be more advantageous to your other vehicles if you are not running synthetics in them. I changed out the oil in my F350 6.0L TD with AMSOIL's 15w40 synthetic Diesel Oil and saw an immediate 10% improvement in gas mileage over a 2500 mile period. I was using a very popular dino oil prior to switching.

I have heard Amsoil is great to run in PWCs as well. Do they make a blend that is ok to run in the Rotax direct injection(DI) and rotax fuel injected(RFI) units?
Thanks,
Thomas

Thomas,
That is true, thanks for mentioning it. AMSOIL actually makes a huge variety of products. If it has an engine, AMSOIL probably has a product for it.
There entire line of PWC products can be found on their product page which is a main link of their website: AMSOIL Corporate Homepage
The AMSOIL Interceptor Synthetic 2-cycle oil should meet the DI and RFI 2-cycle requirements for most PWC.
Pat, thanks for the testimonial. Many people have never heard of AMSOIL and are leery of trying it, especially in a Vette. I appreciate the positive feedback from those that discovered AMSOIL before I did.
All I use for the motor, diff and tranny is AMSOIL. I've noticed that since I've been using it (a year ago) the motor runs noticeably cooler than it did with the original Mobil 1. No valve noises from the motor either. Shifting got a lot easier with the AMSOIL ATF stuff. I've never heard the differential locking up/grinding on a tight turn with the diff lube (without additives) either.
AMSOIL is harder to come by, but pretty good.
G.

I just read on another thread that someone missed this and was interested. Giving this a bump to try to prevent someone else from missing the opportunity.
