I'm about to go back to the dealer Sat. for my 500 mile oil change and I can't think of one single thing for the dealer to correct or fix. Oh, I forgot I'm missing a cigarette lighter
This has got to be the best "from the factory" car I've ever had, and I've had a lot in all my years.
Hats off to BG on this one...
(Now i'm looking forward to more than 3500 rpm. )

I have about 2,700 miles on mine. 2139 of those returning from museum delivery. No problems whatsoever. I am a GM guy through and through, have been all my life except for one diversion (Supra) during the dark days for GM. I have rarely ever had a problem with new GM vehicles. I won 5 right now. Corvette's JD Powers awards do mean something.
You know, that is fantastic to hear. Congrants on getting one that was built right.
I wish I had your guys luck of the draw. Mine is the worst new vehicle I have ever purchased and it due to carelessness at BG.
Warranties are useless when they do not offer sufficient remedy and are executed by poorly supervised or ill trained staff who dont care about their jobs. Its very disheartening when the car is worse off after they try to make things better.
With GM, the customer is last when things go wrong. Sad but true.
In fact, after only 3 weeks and just under 500 miles, I am pretty disgusted with it and am headed to a dealer tomorrow to see what they'll give me for it. As long as its reasonable, I will be glad to rid myself of this headache on four wheels.
I do hope they get their issues sorted and more folks can share your experience. Its such a wonderfull design and you can see its potential greatness. Too bad its let down by the select few dolts building them who look the other way and those of the same ilk that support it after that build.
Good luck and hope yours stays trouble free thru the miles.
I've had mine for 10 months (10,250 miles) now and have only had one problem. The stitching on the drivers side seatback opened up. Just had it repaired under warrenty. Other than that it's been great. No other problems.

Almost 11,000 miles since delivery from the dealer, (29 Dec 01), and haven't found anything wrong with mine... I do know that mine is a "mid-week" build so maybe everybody was awake and happy that day.

We have had our 2002 Z06 for 11 months and the only two problems we have had is the leaking differential and the foul smelling a/c odor. It will go in for both of these repairs next week probably. Awesome car and so far and much more reliable than the 2001 Coupe.
