I have the BSM's and don't mind the look for the added protection. Had a '98 C5 cpe that got a couple of dings without them. That said , I agree with Randy, if I ever took them off I would add the screens. Think that really looks cool

They add weight without improved performance. Not right for the Z06.

I like the factory placement and look. Easy to take off if you want and replace later. Bottom line is your own personal taste

I'd have preferred no BSM but took them because they were on the only EB Z I could find in this area and they're not that big a deal. They do make it a bit harder to dry the car after I wash it. Water leaks out of them for a while after I'm done.

BTW: rwd,
For some reason your link wouldn't work for me. I keep getting an error 404 (file not found). Anyone else have this problem?

BSM... Is that a sexual orientation?

No moldings for me. Seems to me you can tell they were an "after thought" not an integral part of the design. Lines are cleaner without.

I could take it or leave it. As I don't plan on parking next to something I would need them for. My Z had them when I purchased it.

Ordered them on mine and I do like the look. But to each his own! But I wished I could have had EB on Blk that would have looked tough.

Yea, local Chevy dealership parts dept. Think they are $150. painted!

YIPES

Glad I had them on my 02'. I went through a chain driven mech. gate at storage facility. Waiting for my worker, I pulled halfway in. A few seconds later, the gate shut on my drivers door Pushing door in about 1/2 inch.
Wanted to leave at that very second, but kept composer, and sat tight. Worker drove up, keyed in code I told him, and gate opened back up. Afterwards, gate put the slightest mark, that was not noticeable. cheers:

And this was my most uncomfortable moment in the Z my friends
