I'll let y'all know tomorrow how it feels.

Good luck!! What kind are you installing?

I met a local guy today that has been doing head and intake modifications for NASCAR and other sanctioned race teams for 25 years. He REALLY knows his stuff!! I watched him port and polish a set of LS1 heads.

Come to find out, he had a new Dynojet at his facility. So, I dynoed Sherylann's virtually stock, except for the BPP Vortex, 2001 Z06. I want to do a before and after dyno before her TPiS header install. Not disappointed, she turned 338 RWHP and 338 RWTQ.

I am considering taking a new set of heads into him and have him rework them. He bases his cam grinds on flow testing so that the cam matches the heads. No cookie cutter stuff!! It's WAAAAAY over my head.

Good luck Bro!!

It's LG's "G5" cam, I'll be starting at midnight - hoping to finish in time for the dealership to open at 7:30 so I can buy a new crank bolt, then finish buttoning her up - then find a dyno! There will be no tuning happening immediately, so we'll see what it does, I'm predicting in the 390's prior to any kind of tune....

Not very many of the cam---mostly SC install pics at

http://www.chantalray.homestead.com/ati.html

That black LG G7 Vet was at SpeedWorks a couple of weeks ago for the Dynoday. Not sure what it pulled. It was VERY loud.

Jeff,

Thanks for sharing, but we need to get you some photo editing software. Our dialup Bros will never be able to download these pics. They are HUGE man!!

I'll cut a few down for you.

Frank--

Thanks!
I submitted an email regarding the COTM thing we talked about some time ago.
Feel free to grab pics and downsize them!
I currently have 3 sites that run most of my pics.

http://www.chantalray.homestead.com/z06.html

http://www.chantalray.homestead.com/ati.html

http://www.chantalray.homestead.com/z06stereo.html

The first is just the ZO6 site of mine.
The second details the ATI Supercharger install.
The third details the stereo upgrade.

-Jeff

Sorry dial-up members!

Tamu,

I'll be looking for your post-you obviously have a big "need for speed"!

Send a message via AIM to WA 2 FST
And I didn't get an invite to the install party????

Oh, wait...you're starting at MIDNIGHT. Uh, I'll be sleeping.

Let us know, Jim, and let me know when you want to run some scans and start tuning with a MAFT (assuming the WOT A/F ratio is out of line).

Hope the install goes smoothly. Looks to be a bit of a bear to me compared to what I'm used to doing.
