I'm just curious if anyone else has problems with there in dash CD player (not the changer) scratching CDs? I know a lot of you are not even aware you have radios/CD players (the exhaust does sound nice, doesn't it?) but for those who do I'm curious if you've noticed this?
And I'm not just talking a little scratching... I'm talking BAD scratching. I bought a brand new CD two weeks ago that is scratched to hell now after being put in/taken out roughly ten times. Oh, and it's only been played in the Z, never in any other CD player.
Just wondering if I'm alone with this problem. Thanks in advance for any input.
Never heard of that, I play CDs and have never had any problem at all. Someone who is a audio specialist might have some ideas. The thing with CDs is that nothing really touches the disk, unlike records, tapes etc. anyway that is what I thought. How about your dealer, any info from them? Let us know how you come out and the cause.
