Hey guys I'm a new member. Have had a few C5s but this is my first Z. Mines a 2001. Been chasing a clunk in the rear. Changed front and rear end links. Even removed the away bars completely. At one point. Checked shocks. Then drive with out them installed. Greased axel splines and re torqued nuts. Check torque specs on all ball joints control arm bolts and sway bolts. Also did same with front suspension just invcase the noise was resonating to the rear. None of this has fixed the clunking. Any ideas on issue?

Thanks for replies. The large nuts you are referring to I assume is the axel nuts. They are torqued and axel splines are greased. The noise I'm getting is not a clicking its a thumping clunking like a bad ball joint. But there is no play in them. Unless they could make noise and not look bad.
