I am looking into purchasing my Z06 soon. I found a 2002 TR low miles in Daytona and when I called to make sure it was still there it was sold.
The heck with this, I think I may get an 03'. I was wondering what incentives there are. I heard of no payment for 90 days. Is that for used cars or new. I dont care about the 0% interest, I am financing for six years. I might have found someone to do $5000 below MSRP. Are there any more incentives out there. Is GMS better than 5K off of invoice, it doesnt seem like it would be. About the same.
You can get more off on GMS. I don't know if I am allowed to say publicly. Send me a PM and I'll let you know. My new Z06 is awaiting a ride from Bowling Green to Michigan. You may have some trouble finding a dealer who will sell GMS. Z's are apparently sold by allocation, and Corvette volume determines the allocation. Larger dealers in bigger cities are generally the best bet.
I picked up my 03' last week for $750 over invoice. PM me and I will give you the details. Dealer had 20+ Z's on his lot when I left last Friday and another 30+ Coupes and Verts. All colors. Great people to deal with too.

GMS pricing is the price GM employees pay for a new GM vehicle that is on the dealer lot. Certain relatives of the GM employee arfe also eligible for GMS price. For example, sons/daughter/spouses, etc. of the employee. The dealership is not required to sell their cars at GMS pricing since each dealership is independly owned. The GMS, MSRP and invoice price is availabe at the dealership....some dealers are reluctant to show the potential customer these prices, BUT if you are eligible for GMS, insist on seeing the GMS price before agreeing to buy the car, and then be sure that exact same amount shows on your purchase papers! Some dealers sell Vettes at "modified" GMS pricing.... I interpret "modified" GMS pricing to mean they get more of your money! Don't fall for it. Ask for a print-out of the dealer's prices for the particular car you intend to buy. With that you can see the MSRP, all options, shipping date from Bowling Green, Invoice date, and the all important GMS price, all on one piece of paper.
Gm supplier is a different price than GMS price. I believe the confusion some people have is GM Supplier vs. GMS price....they are two different prices, and almost always the GMS (employee and eligible relatives) price is LESS. The "S" in GMS stands for "in stock" vehicles, not Supplier.
Hope this helps, and if anyone needs additional help or explanation please pm me.
BTW, I used to work for GM and still keep in contact with current employee friends to try to keep up to speed on all this.
Who out there will do the GM Supplier discount. I work for an Insurance company that deals largely with GM. Hey forum dealers......any takers for GM Supplier or 5K off MSRP
