Which dealer in PHX?

Anybody have any experience/reccommendations for a good dealer in the Phoenix AZ area? I went to Lou Grubb, and well, to save a flaming, I wasn't impressed. Who in the area is mod friendly, and knows what they're doing? I'm out of warranty, if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance!

Lee

Ohh... I should have read your post more carefully before replying... It looks like you already bought a vette and you are looking for repair work. Anyway I used Brown and Brown one time for warranty work and they were fine. I know that stevez06 has been there many many times but I will let him give you his opinion.

Thanks Zteve! I'll give them a try. Lou Grubb told me my vibration at 1500 RPM was from "that big cam they use in these cars"
whatever.....

Don't take it to Midway.

I've been to Brown and Brown a bunch of times, and they have done more good than bad work so I guess I'd recommend them. They do have a mechanic that's owned and worked on Vette's for 15 yrs, and he told me that headers were cool as far as warranty's go so they're somewhat mod friendly. I have a blackwing and they don't seem to mind that. They replaced a leaking drivers side fuel tank and did great work... they pulled the tank at a later date and replaced the fuel pump and that was a good fix. They did the tranny and clutch under warranty and didn't blink an eye. They did excellent work for that, except they left a ball joint loose and forgot to align it, and I figured that out when it got squirrly on the freeway at 70 on the way home. I suppose if they would have aligned it they would have caught the loose ball joint, but still, that was a big screwup if you ask me. They tried to charge me for the alignment, but I protested and they gave in. They serviced the diff under warranty, new fluid and LSD additive, and did a great job on that and they've replaced the center console piece because of peeling and aligned the trunk lid so it lifts up far enough to get my fingers under it. Other than leaving the ball joint loose, which could have been a disaster, they've done really well for me and haven't hassled me about anything really when it comes to warranty repairs. Ask for Rich Knight in the service dept and tell him Steve Nirk sent you. They'll take 30% off everything for you.

Ok, I lied about the 30%

Good luck. Not to cause you worry, but you know it's a crapshoot every time you take your car to the dealership.

Thanks Steve! I'll give them a try. Hopefully, they'll do the seat under warranty. How are they on engine diagnostics? I've GOT to get this vibration cured, it's driving me nuts!
