Lately I have gotten into the habit of waxing my car after I wash it, which is about 3 times per month. I would say it now has five coats of Z5 and two coats Z2. Laying down only one coat of wax after each wash.
So, do you think its better to put on one coat of Zaino each time you wash the car OR have a marathon waxing session once every few months and put on several coats?
You are overwaxing the car. I am not that familiar with Zaino or other polymers but your paint is only going to accept so much wax or sealent. Maybe you should try waxing once per month. Wash weekly, wax monthly and cleanse the paint quarterly. I am used to regualr waxes (Zymol, P21S, etc) so I am not exactly sure if the same holds true for polymers. you may want to check out www.autopia.org for more info on Zaino. Hope this helps.
I use detailer spray nearly every time , wax every third or so. Having a black car, I find it useful to use something with claims to being "anti-static".

Yup, I'm still building up a nice coat of Zaino, so I wash it once a week, and hit it with the Zaino right after.

Wash with Mequiars gold class car wash, every time it gets dirty. Use Mequiars quick detailer after a wash and in between washes to keap car clean. Wax about every 6 months, or whenever the quick detailer quits working. Waxing proces takes 3 hours. Cleaner, polish and wax. and yes it is Mequiars too. One of these days I'll put 5 coats of Mequiars on the car just to see what it looks like.
You are doing nothing to benefit your car doing it that often. The Zaino brothers are thanking you very much for your over use though.

Don't shoot me but, I tried the Eagle1 Wax as U Dry and it really does a great job between waxes.. leave your car wet after washing and spray on then use a dry cloth or an Absorber to remove the water and wax.. give it a try you might like it

I might give that a try. I now use quick detailer (after I use a leaf blower to dry it) to remove water spots.

I'm no expert but I tend to agree. Seems like it's just waxing the wax. But who know's. I've been wrong before
