Do you think the General will bring back 0% on the C5s?

Finally positioned to buy. Basically at 0% I could go new for the same as going used 02/03.

Just curious what you guys think is possible...

Will we see 0% again to finish off the C5s before the C6 price gouging begins?

They don't have too currently.

I don't see it!

Bill.

It's going to get harder to get a z06 this spring.

I predict, before summer, no more z06s (new) out-there!

Get the best deal today. I think this is the right time.
What is the rate currently? 1.9%? Lots of rebates now and discounting.

Since the introduction of the C6, the Z06 sales seem to be doing quite well. It appears most people would rather buy a C5 Z06 than buy a C6 coupe/vert. And this is in spite of the recent $1,000 price increase on the Z06. Does that speak volumes about how good the Z06 is, or how blah the C6 is?

You will have a better selection now if you decide to buy now. If you wait you will have less choices - and like stated earlier, you might not even find any new Z06s.

I bought mine a few months ago and it was hard for me just to wait two months while I was looking. I don't know how you can do it...I would have bought it already.

The 1.9% is only for 36 months, so it's not really attractive to me.

The rebates are good, that's for sure. It's a great time to be in the market, but at 0% I can justify the value drop of buying new. Without it, buying new makes a lot less sense than slightly used.

I couldn't believe it when they did 0% a month or so ago, but I just wasn't positioned at that point. If I had been I'd be posting a "New Owner" post instead of a speculation post.

I am ready to buy/trade now also.

If I could get a Z16 at invoice and 0%/60 months, I'd sign today!

Are there any dealers out there listening ???

Nice looking cobra you have... pretty sure I saw it at Gold's on Wm Cannon and Mopac with the personalized plates. Are you keeping the Cobra?

Thanks Mike. No I'm not going to keep the Cobra if I do the deal. Depending on what happens I'll either trade it or sell it. Wish I could afford both, but no can do.

I would love to see your EB in person sometime. I really wish they had those in '04 in case I buy new.

Good luck to you guys, got mine at 0% for 60 last May. Justified the extra $$$ over used just like your thinking. Hopefully can have it paid off well in advance of 60 months, though. Gotta love using the General's dough.

I would be shocked to see 0% come back, especially after the recent price increase. They will be stopping production on certain colors in about another month. With C6 production ramping up, the C5's will slow down and only the ones on order will be built. IMO the last of the 04's will dry up quick, pull the trigger and get the color you want now.
