Where does the stuff hide that dealers find that is evidence of tracking? I do notice little chunks of rubber stuck to the tread, and black marks on the nose, behind the wheels and on and under the rocker panels. Where elso does it hide and how do you find it and get it out?
Any help appreciated. I may have to take mine to a dealer soon.
Thanks,

Support our troops; bring them home.
Unless you had to have it trucked to the dealer from the track, they'll be hard pressed to argue you had been on the track no matter what it looks like. There is no provision in the warranty or service manual for car cleanliness. Just be sure you wash the numbers off the glass, and take all the timeslips out of the Glove Box.
I can just imagine the conversation with the Service Manager... "sorry, we won't service your problem. The car is dirty. Our standing policy is to assume that all dirty Corvettes are that way because they've been raced on a racetrack."
Puh-leeze.
Only an idiot would think they could get away with that kind of logic.
