Extended -extended GMPP warranty worth 700 a year?

What do U guys think of the extended - extended GMPP warranty ?

Is it worth it if your keeping the car another 2 or 3 years to spend about 700 a year for the extended extended GMPP warranty? ..

Not sure what I'm doing with the car...but probably keep it a few more years....

Would you guys spend 700 a year for another GMPP warranty on top of the existing one? (as it comes to an end)

If you have to decide 3 months and 3 K miles prior to the extended GMPP warranty expiring....

Just thought I'd ask what you guys are doing? Or what you think is a good way to go....

Basically it would go from a dollar a day coverage for the first round of extended warranty to two dollars a day...(give or take a few pennies)

Is it worth about 2 dollars a day for the extra coverage...

Or should I just go without the warranty?

Pls let me explain further..

At first I thought to own my existing car 3 more years so I figured out my mileage usage and purchased a GMPP warranty for an additional 3 years...

Well the three years are coming due and I need to decide..

Do I purchase another 3 years worth of GMPP warranty at approximately 2 dollars a day or do I go without the warranty and just pay for whatever service is needed...

I really didn't have any claims over the last three years (only 43K miles on the weekend toy) so that is the basis of my question...

What do U guys think?

My car only has 5,000 after 2.5 years, and I am seriously thinking about buying the GMPP.

Warranty

Where did you get that price from??? $700 a year! My extended warranty for three years was only a little over $900 so with my Math thats more like $300 a year. Well worth the peace of mind with all the little electrical glitches that can go wrong in the Vette. If you are paying anymore that a grand for 3 years of coverage your paying too much. Go on the internet and competitively shop the warranties. There are large dealers in the Midwest that will low-ball you the price. You then take their price to your local dealer and in most cases they will match it. Too much profit in it to let you get away. JMHO.

I appreciate your insight.

I also apologize for not being more concise.

Let me explain.

I already have the GMPP warranty which I paid around 1200 dollars for in the 35th month of ownership...I got an additional 3 years and a total of 50K miles worth of warranty. With the car approaching 43K miles and 5 1/2years old.....

..I now have to decide if I take out ANOTHER GMPP warranty as the next three years are coming due....

I like the car.. I have a desire to keep it a few more years...

The additional GMPP warranty..(not the first extended GMPP warranty which cost me 1200) is now costing around 2 grand for the years 6 through 9 ...

Crazy as it sounds....I might actually be driving this car for another few years...Years 6 through 9? If I sell the car? I just call and get reimbursed for a few dollars (pro rated)

If it was 1200 dollars or the 900 your mentioning for the extended GMPP I wouldn't think twice...

As the car gets older...years 6 through 9 the warranty costs understandably get more expensive as the car is older...

I'm just not sure the 2 dollars a day is something I should do...for years 6 through 9 so I'm asking on the forum what you guys think.

I hope this is more clear on what I'm asking and I appreciate your opinions on my scenerio...

DWS...so you think the 700 a year is worth the extended warranty 50 dollar deductible for years 6 through 9?

Would you prefer the 560 dollar per year 200 dollar deductible? (for years 6 through 9) ? 10K miles per year?
