Seems like I have read almost all the threads on this forum since last spring and now after placing an order in August, I have a TPW of 18 November with a curiosity delivery to a So California dealer on or about 12 December.
I can’t thank all of you enough for all the info and joy I have received from this forum and look forward to participating with the same enthusiasm as the rest.

Congrats, Stan. Miles of fun in front of you

Stan, I know what your going through. I first placed my order the first week in July through my local dealer. Unfortunately he never got his allocation. Last month I made arrangements through one of our supporting dealers and my baby was born on 11/11/2002.
Fortunately I've stayed on good terms with my local dealer as he is doing my courtesy delivery. I'm hoping my baby arrives the first week in December.

I do hope you mean courtesy delivery. A curiosity delivery would be a curious thing!

The sleepless nights began the first day Stan got serious about buying a Z06. They got worse when his order was finally placed and they will continue until he gets the car.
What he doesn't know is that the sleeplessness doesn't end with delivery. For a month after that, he will wake up and go to check the garage just to be sure the whole thing isn't a dream. When on the road, the wake up call comes every few hours for the mandatory peek out of the motel window just to be sure the car is still there. These are great "wake up' calls! Enjoy!
You right and thanks. Think I wore out the 2002 brochure (pages were falling out) and always going thru the Vette catalogs. My wife can look at me most anytime and says, your thinking about that Vette, aren't you?

You probably wore out your keyboard with all our emails in the early stages too.
Congratulations. We're looking forward to getting together when your baby arrives. Hope you make it to Bragg Smith too, even if you don't want to join in the school. There will be plenty of time for partying, etc.
