I finally got, after a lot of delays, my first Z! It's an 02, still warrantied, 10.5k miles, looks absolutey immaculate, and only $30k! It's sooooo beautiful. Black on black! The HUD is fun as hell. Thing is blindingly fast. Oh my God, this car is f***ing nuts!

Absolutley crazy... My dad has a Viper ACR, which I got used to. So, reading stories of Viper racing wins, I got the impression that the Z06 was sub par. However, driving one for the first time, It is every bit what the Viper is, for a fairer price. Its more refined, doesn't like to lose it (it being traction) as badly as the Viper. The ABS and the Active handling make the Z such a better performer, in my eyes, even if it be slightly slower. Plus the suspension doesnt kill you, it's easier to get in and out of, the sifter is in a better place (but I do admit the T56 shift is a better one than the Corvette transaxel). The HUD is absolutley killer. The AC actually works. It's not a Chrysler product ... I'm just afraid to take such a beautiful work of art to college down here in Santa Barbara until I have a garage... I've seen people walk on cars in Isla Vista.
