Ohh boy! Buffing can be dangerous if the person doesn't know what they are doing!!! Cooking the paint with the buffing pad is really easy to do. Screw that I'd make them re-paint that too!!!!!

Buffing Problems

None of this sounds good. I'd want to talk to a factory rep. Hope they don't give you the old "acid rain" line.

Brian,

My experiences with dealerships have rarely been enjoyable.
Paint peeled of the front of my wife's new Acura and the dealership touched it up. The only problem is they scratched the headlight(plastic), got overspray on the grill and there was trash in the paint After a couple of revisits we are almost satisfied.

I had a cloudy spot on my hood too. I got rid of it last weekend. I used a little Zymol from the local auto store. Worked like a charm.
While I was at it, I hit the rest of the car with it too. Pretty good. I had the bottle, so why not. I am pleased with the results.
