Just dropped my Z06 at the dealer for all fluid changes.
Oil change [mobil 1] - 69.95
Transmission Flush - 129.95
Emissions service - 145.00
Flush Brake system - 109.95
limited slip diff flush - 134.95
total - 600
It has about 29000 miles and he suggested that all these are required at 30000 miles service. Is that true? I do not have the owner manual with me to refer to such things. Please advise. Thanks.
Also, is that all that is necessary for the 30000 mile service.

Nofear - regardless of what the owner's manual says, if this vehicle is 'new' to you having all this done is not a bad idea in my tiny mind. I have done the same with used vehicles I have purchased, incl belts, hoses, etc. It isn't "cheap" insurance necessarily but does provide some peace of mnd.
If you've already dropped it off then it sounds like you're gonna have it done anyway but I'm looking in my owners manual and it's very vague as far as scheduled maintenance goes. For the 30k mile scheduled maint. all it says is replace eng. air cleaner filter. It doesn't even mention the other items on your list. Without knowing anything about your car or it's past history it's hard to advise you on what may or may not be needed. If the car's been hard used in the past (drag racing, auto cross, etc) then doing all that stuff may be a good idea. If you're in doubt, ask the dealer to show you in one of his owners manuals where it says to do all that stuff at 30k. Good luck.

I've taken a lot of cars to the dealer for 30K service. That price sounds about right. I think my 2000 was about $750 or so for that service. Whether its "necessary" or not is another question... I usually go with what the dealer says (within reason )

Emissions are covered by Federally Mandated Warranty to 100,000 miles except for the CATS which are covered to 50,000 miles. If they charge you 1 cent for "Emissions Service" they are doing it illegally.
I would ask them what the "Emissions Service" consisted of first and then remind them about the Federally Mandated Warranty.
And, unlike New Car Manufacturers warranties the Federal Mandated Emissions Warranty is automatically transferable to any and ALL owners until 100,000 miles.
They are just trying to take $145 out of your pocket. It's as illegal as pickpocketing and probably caries a hefty penalty and possibly jail time. Ask them about that and see what they say.
I buy my own Mobil1 and Filters by the case and the Dealer charges me $10 for the oil/filter change and Lube.
They charge me $145 for BOTH Tranny and Diff fluid drain and refill. Alkl they have to do to change the Tranny and Dill is to drain just like the oil and refill. There is no pumping or "Exchange " as in Automatic trannies.
My dealer charged me $100 for a complete Brake drain, flush and refill and that included the ABS done with the Tech II. I did supply my own AP600 fluid though....4 pints.
Above all don't let tham charge you for a new PCV valve....Zo6's don't have them. If they do I would walk away, never go back and take them to court.
All in all though most Chevy Dealers are very honest and treat Corvette owners like Royalty.....as they should!
At 35K I recently changed all my fluids at a friend's shop. Mobil One from Costco $23.00 for six quarts, Mobil One filter $9.00, Redline ATF $28.00 for four quarts, and Redline 75W90 gear oil $16.00 for two quarts. Changed brake pads, but did not see any reason to "flush" the brake system since I do not track the car as DJ does. I do "turkey baster" the clutch reservoir religiously however for about $.25 each time. Find someone with a rack or lift and save $500.00.
