I've heard of Connell...but, don't know what city it's in/
Can you help?
No, they are NOT Power Chevrolet, they are still the same family owned business they have been for over 30 years, located on Harbor Blvd in Costa Mesa 714-546-1200.

Yes, Todd and the service guys at Connell are very nice, courteous, knowledgeable, and accomodating. However, they still treat your Corvette like a Geo. I have purchased all my new vehicles from Connell since 1978, including my '92 Corvette. The only dings in the Corvette were placed there by staff at Connell.
I recently had a door replaced. The body shop did a wonderful job on the paint, but couldn't align the door properly. So I took it to Connell for alignment. Well after 3 trips, the door still isn't aligned, I'm wet when it rains, there is very noticeable wind leakage above 30MPH, AND THEY DINGED THE NEW DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!
I STILL WOULD LOVE TO FIND A REPUTABLE CORVETTE MECHANIC THAT TREATS THE CAR WITH CARE
Yeah, McPherson is now Power in Irvine. I'm going to try them out this Friday. I don't see how they can be any worse than Selman so I have nothing to lose.

I need to find a good place as well. Have you ever heard of any places with Corvettes for loaners if you leave your car there for service?? That would be a nice touch.
Corvette for loaner? Unlike the old beatup Cavalier with power-nothing Selman gave me as a loaner one night?
And another reason why I believe Cadillac should be selling Corvettes, not Chevy. The Corvette has evolved and so has its owners. And selling a $50k+ car alongside rebadged Daewoos...........
